Compare the footprint of the actual sample with the intended packing surface and note where the lid occupies floor or table space. This makes a layout decision easier to discuss without turning an illustration into a performance claim.

If the project uses a zipper closure, check the zipper path at the hinge-side corners while the case is both flat and partly open.
